Dance Classes

The Anaheim Community Services department offers youth and adult dance classes throughout the year at the Downtown Community Center, located at 250 E. Center; the East Anaheim Community Center, located at 8201 E. Santa Ana Canyon Rd., and the Brookhurst Community Center, located at 2271 W. Crescent.

Lessons are open to citizens of all ages and skill levels and are taught by qualified dance instructors. There are group classes available periodically for beginner and intermediate dancers. Class fees, durations and meetings per week differ from course to course and season to season. Classes are offered in a wide variety of styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, ballroom, country, swing, belly dancing, Scandinavian folk dance, English country dance, ballet folklorico, Polynesian dance, Hip-Hop, Salsa, Cha Cha and Merengue. Some classes, like Ballroom and Swing, require a partner.
