The City of Arvada contracts with Xcel Energy to provide street lighting in the city. To report a malfunctioning or non-functioning street light within Arvada call 720-898-7750 or submit a service request.
Requests for new streetlights should be given to the City’s Traffic Engineering Division. Once a request is received, City staff will determine the best location for the street light and request a cost estimate from Xcel Energy. If no cost is involved and providing that the affected residents are in agreement, the street light is scheduled for installation. If cost is involved, residents must provide payment for the new street light prior to its installation. To request a new street light please submit a service request.
