The Fire Safety Program is offered each school year to all third grade students in the City of Hayward.
The Fire Safety Program consists of:
- a presentation at the school that covers fire safety and burn prevention;
- student participation and interaction in the fire safety program by role-playing and the use of props;
- distribution of fire safety activity booklets for each student to review and complete.
A Certificate of Achievement is given to each student who completes the program.
