A fire safety inspection can be requested through the Fire Prevention Office. The inspection determines if fire code violations exist.
The fire inspection report prepared by a fire inspector will determine the acceptability of the building premise or business. The use of a building or premises is subject to fire safety issues. Fire clearance can be granted if all fire code violations have been corrected within a determined time frame.
