A Fire Department permit is required to use liquid and gas-fueled vehicles and equipment for display, competition, or demonstration within any public assembly area in the City of Hayward or within the jurisdiction of the Hayward Fire Department.
The following procedures are to be followed:
- batteries shall be disconnected in an approved manner;
- vehicles or equipment shall not be fueled or de-fueled within the building;
- location of vehicles or equipment shall not obstruct or block means of egress.
