A Place of Assembly is where 50 or more persons gather together for such purposes as deliberation, education, instruction, worship, entertainment, amusement, drinking, dining, or awaiting transportation.
All Places of Assembly in Hayward are required to be inspected and permitted on an annual basis.
After a fire inspection has been conducted at the place of business, the business owner shall submit a Fire Department Permit application with the appropriate fees.
