The Knox rapid entry system is designed to help fire departments and businesses work together to preserve lives and property. It eliminates the need for Fire Department officials to maintain and carry cumbersome key rings with hundreds of building keys.
A building owner can purchase the rapid entry key box and mount it securely near the entrance of the facility. Fire staff can recommend the best box location and lock the building keys in the Knox key box.
A rapid entry key box is available for purchase from the Fire Prevention Office for $75.
