A Fire Department annual permit is required to conduct a spraying or dipping operation that uses flammable or combustible liquids or the application of combustible powders.
Before spraying or dipping is permitted, the Fire Prevention Office shall approve a designated area within the facility.
The purpose of the annual Fire Department permit is to:
- assure that a fire inspection is made on a regular annual basis;
- verify that the original requirements are maintained and the designated area has not changed
