A pre-application meeting allows property owners and project developers to present preliminary project plans to the City for review before significant time and money is spent on a project application.
At the meeting, preliminary feedback on a project is provided from knowledgeable representatives from Planning, Building, Engineering, Utilities, Transportation, Fire Marshal, Police, and any other staff directly involved in reviewing the project.
Pre-application meetings are generally held Wednesday mornings and can be arranged by calling the Planning Division.
Please use the Pre-application Meeting Guide for direction on what information City staff needs to understand the project and provide reliable information. A Planning Division fee of $1,000 is required.
