Inspectors and detectives assigned to the Robbery and Property Crimes Unit investigate the following types of cases:
Robbery – taking someone else’s property against someone’s will by use of force or fear.
Burglary – crime of entering or breaking into a building to commit a theft. Crime scene technicians process scenes of burglaries for physical evidence such as finger prints.
Fraud / Theft – Fraud is the crime of taking something of value by means of deception or forgery.
Identity Theft – Identity theft is using someone else’s credit to fraudulently purchase goods.
