Rookie Ball is a summertime sporting event for boys and girls between the ages of 5 to 15, co-sponsored by the San Francisco Giants, City of Hayward, and Hayward Area Recreation Department.
Rookie Ball starts the end of June and goes through August. There is no cost to players. Games are held at Standley Field in Weekes Park in Hayward. Game times are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 9 am to 2 pm.
Proof of birth date is required during registration along with the completed Rookie Ball Application.
