The City Manager’s Office develops, guides, and presents policy recommendations to the Mayor and City Council and its various boards, committees, and commissions. The Office is responsible for assuring that the goals of the Mayor and Council are supported through the development and prudent analysis of relevant and timely policies; and that matters of policy are identified and brought forward to the community and the Mayor and Council for consideration as warranted by events and circumstances affecting the community of Hayward at any given time.
