There are eight City-operated parking lots and two parking structures (with about 1,689 parking spaces) in the downtown area. The parking lots and structures are:
- free of charge
- provide parking for patrons of downtown businesses
- have posted time limits.
Downtown business owners and other long-term parkers are encouraged to park in spaces that are posted for longer term parking. That ensures that on-street and other convenient parking spaces are available for business customers.
