Water Bill Payments:

- by mail - check or money order, along with the bill stub, in the envelope provided with your bill if you do not have the bill stub, mail to PO Box 56627, Hayward Ca 94545.
Important: If you have received a shut off notice, please do not mail your payment. Instead contact the billing office @ 583-4624.

Revenue Division City Hall - First Floor 777 B Street Hayward, CA 94541
- in person after business hours - placing the bill stub and payment (only check or money order) in an envelope in the night drop box -located outside City Hall on the east side( front) of the building facing Watkins Street. Payments are processed the following workday.
- by phone - Customers can dial (510) 583-4636 to pay their bill by phone. Once dialed, enter access code ‘900’ to transfer to the water payment system. You will need your street address and 9 digit account number to access your account. Payments can be made through a checking account, or by VISA or MasterCard.
Business hours:
- 9am to 5pm - Monday through Thursday
- 8am to12 noon - Friday.
Past Due Balances:
Previous balances are delinquent. If previous balances are not paid by the date printed on the payment stub, water service may be stopped. If you have questions about a past due bill, payment arrangements or water service shut-off, contact the billing office.
Returned Checks:
All checks returned by the bank as unpaid will carry a $25 returned check charge. Also, your water service may be disconnected.
