If you are interested in applying for a posted position there are four ways you can receive the recruitment materials.

- Fill out an online Employment Application Request Form.Fill out an online Job Interest Card for positions not listed by filling out the form.
- You can pick up the materials at the Human Resources Office located at 1400 Highland Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Applications will only be accepted for jobs currently listed. You cannot apply for a job that is not listed or after the closing date.

People who have submitted an application can request status of their application by calling the city. Applicants selected to continue in the recruitment process will be contacted by the Human Resources Department one to two weeks after the specified closing date. If there is no closing date posted, applicants will be contacted regarding their status once a written and/or oral interviews have been established. Applicants not selected will be notified by mail concerning the status of their application. The job announcement will specify the exam components and weights for the recruitment process. If an applicant requires special accommodations for any portion of the testing process please contact the Human Resources Department prior to the testing date.
