National Night Out

The City of Stockton, along with a projected 37.5 million people in more than 15,325 communities from all 50 states, will celebrate National Night Out this year on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  All requests for participation need to be received no later than Monday, July 8, 2013.

National Night Out is a "win-win" event for everyone involved.  Designed to heighten crime, drug-prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood spirit and strengthen Police and community relations.  National Night Out sends a message to criminals that neighborhoods are working together and fighting back.

Every Stockton neighborhood is encouraged to plan activities on their block, in front of their homes, at their community park, or pool.  Neighborhoods can celebrate with cookouts, block parties, parades, contests, youth activities, or a simple ice-cream social.  Be creative; try new activities.

If you don't already know your neighbors, a great way to meet them is to participate in the 30th Annual National Night Out celebration.  If you are organizing a National Night Out event in your neighborhood, please register with us by filling out the service request form below.
