The City of Stockton is always seeking civic-minded individuals interested in serving the community.  Service to the community is a rewarding experience that will broaden your knowledge of local government and provide an opportunity for personal and professional development.

The City of Stockton is working to establish a Hospitality District in the downtown area to promote entertainment related businesses.

The City of Stockton has developed a plan for residential and business development in the downtown area.

Volunteers are a vital and valued resource for the community. Thousands of people volunteer for non-profit organizations, community-based organizations, service clubs, faith-based organizations, environmental programs, and civic projects each year.
