The Yucca Valley Animal Shelter (YVAS) is operated by the Town of Yucca Valley and San Bernardino County. This facility is a place for people to look for their lost pets, relinquish pets they can no longer care for or to bring stray animals they have found. The YVAS adopts out animals in addition to working with other agencies and rescue groups in an effort to place pets into good, permanent homes. The Shelter is located at 56460 Paseo Las Ninas,Yucca Valley, CA 92284. Directions to the Yucca Valley Animal Shelter; from SR62 take Hwy SR247 north to Skyline Ranch Road. Turn left at the signal onto Skyline Ranch Road. Drive 3/4 of a mile (paved road) until you reach Malin Way (also a paved road). Turn right onto Malin Way and travel 1/8 of a mile to the end of the road where you will see our facility.
Morongo Basin Humane Society (Oasis Animal Shelter (MBHS)) - 4646 Sunview Rd, Joshua Tree CA 92252 (760) 366-3786. MBHS is a non-profit animal adoption center. This shelter is not an impounding facility and does not receive animals picked up by Animal Control nor do they accept stray animals brought in by citizens. Palms N Paws Animal Shelter - 7086 Bullion Avenue, Twentynine Palms, CA 92277 (760) 367-0157. The shelter is an impounding facility and an adoption center. Palms N Paws is located in the city limits of 29 Palms and receives animals from the City of Twentynine Palms, the Marine Corps Base and surrounding, unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County.

Turn right onto Malin Way. Drive straight to the animal shelter. There is a night drop located outside the office for animals brought in after hours.
